Overview

The FCT College of Education, Zuba collaborate with partner universities to offer Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) and Bachelor of Arts (B.A. Ed.), Bachelor of Science Education (B.Sc. Ed.), and related degree qualifications. These programmes enable NCE holders and UTME candidates to earn university degrees while benefiting from the college’s expertise and teaching facilities, effectively bridging college-to-university career aspirations.
Affiliations:
While the official university affiliations may vary over time, FCT COE Zuba’s degree programme is commonly run in affiliation with esteemed Nigerian universities, such as the University of Abuja and others, as accredited by the National Universities Commission (NUC).
Entry Requirements
Admission into the degree programmes is competitive, aligning with university and regulatory standards:
UTME Entry:
Five (4) O-Level credits, including English and Mathematics (WAEC, NECO, NABTEB).
UTME/JAMB score meeting the cut-off for the college/university and specific course.
Must choose FCT COE Zuba (and partner university, if required) as the institution of choice.
Direct Entry:
NCE, OND, or HND with at least a merit or upper credit in the relevant field.
Two A-level passes or approved equivalent.
Other Requirements:
Department-specific subject combinations and screening as required by the university affiliation.
Evidence of good conduct and medical fitness, as may be stipulated.
